Secret Shoppers

I got shopped today. That’s what we call it when somebody comes into our store and pretends to be interested in buying our program, but then walks out. I don’t know what to think of these people. On one hand they are hired by our own company to see if we are doing our jobs, but on the other hand they are kind of sneaky and they waste our time. I could have been doing so many other things (like making money for the company) if she wouldn’t have come in and took an hour of my time.
Is this right or wrong? What do you all think of secret shoppers? I’m going to look into this line a work a little bit closer. I think I would rather be the one doing the shopping than getting shopped.
