Famous People

Posted by Gina on Aug 14, 2008

I can’t believe the story I just read about Shelley Malil. I can’t believe it. He was such an amazing actor and looked so normal. I still feel that people who are capable of murder or attempted murder should look different to us so we can spot them. Oh it is such a shame to be so successful and so well thought of and then to turn out to be crazy or worse yet evil.

It’s hard to imagine having a life so blessed and then ruining it all. He had family and friends and a great career as well as financial stability. I guess it is true what they say money does not buy happiness. For someone to come so far in such a short time and then throw it all away. We definitely need more prayers in this world and more focus on God and less on ourselves.

The 2008 Olympic Games

Posted by Gina on Aug 9, 2008

Watching the opening events for the 2008 Olympics was great.  With the war going on in Iraq and the other wars happening around the world, I think it was great to see the majority of countries come together for the Olympic Games.  I was surprised to see the Middle East (Iran and Iraq) as part of the 2008 Olympics.  I think the timing is perfect it is about time we come together and leave our political differences aside.

Speaking of Politics I have finally registered to vote.  After years and years of wanting to do it I finally did.  I haven’t been able to get my husband to do it yet, but I’m working on it.  He is not a sports fan either, but he was happy to sit down and watch part of the Olympics with me as well.  He loved the opening ceremony and said that he wished he was there to see it in person.  Hopefully in 2012 the games will be played a little bit closer to the United States.  As for now we will watch it on TV and hope for the best.

Online Payday Loans

Posted by Gina on Aug 3, 2008

I don’t know what it is, but it feels like I’m always behind on my bills.  My next credit card payment is coming up on the 8th and payday is not until the 10th.  I just can’t get caught up.  I wonder if I’m the only one who struggles month after month like this.  I get my bills paid but they are always late and then I get extra fees which I can’t afford!  I was so excited when I found the website about online loans.  It is called Payday Loans.  I never realized something like this existed.

There are no credit checks and you can be approved for up to $1500!  There is a quick 3 minute online form you fill out and as long as you are working and have a steady income coming in you are qualified.  The interest rates are based on the state you live and the process is quick and easy.  There is no waiting for weeks on end to get approved.  These loans are the best way to get in control of your finances for once.

My Last Day at Work

Posted by Gina on Aug 2, 2008

My last day of work is today.  Yes my last day falls on a Saturday.  I think that is why I am up so early.  On the one hand I feel good about the situation, but on the other I have never really been good with change.  I wish I was I think it would make life a lot easier and a lot more exciting.  The decision has been made though and although I loved the job I had I felt I was not growing or learning anything new.

My boss was such a sweetheart.  She came back into work last night to give me flowers and a card.  We did not always get along, but I really respected her and thought she was a great boss.  Actually one of the best I have ever had.  She was a little bit older and wiser than the rest of us.  I will miss everyone but I hope that in the weeks to come I will realize it was for the best.

Diseases that were once thought of as death sentences are now being treated with the advancement of medicine. Our bodies are definitely small miracles and are capable of things beyond our imagination. I think it is about time we start looking at all the good that the advancement of medicine is doing instead of focusing on the negative.

Bad Weather

Posted by Gina on Jul 27, 2008

The other night a bad storm came in around midnight and we lost power.  Another one is coming in right now that made me think about it.  It was so strange to go to bed without the television on.  My husband and I lit candles so it wasn’t pitch black in our house, but even with the light from the candles it was still hard to get around.

We were both working on the computer when the storm came in.  We’re both night people so staying up until 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning is not unusual for us.  Once we lost power though the only thing we could do is go to bed.  Lying in bed without any sound and without any power was a strange experience.  As we both lied there we realized how our entire life revolved around noise.  It felt so uncomfortable to be in the dark in perfect silence. The next day when we woke up the power was on and I have to admit I had such a peaceful sleep that night.

Personal Loans

Is it just me or is everyone else concerned about their money as well these days?  I know what it is partially the gas prices are out of this world, but lately I’m finding myself watching everything I buy.  It’s good to know there are still places out there willing to lend money for personal loans when money seems to be in short supply.  Personalloansmania.com is a great company out there offering quick loans to people nationwide.

How it works is that you go directly to their website at Online Personal Loans and it takes under 3 minutes to apply for a loan.  There are no credit checks and the best part is you can use the money for whatever you need.  You can get approved that very same day.  No waiting for days or weeks on end to see if you qualify.  Besides that who has time to wait these days when you need the money right now.  This site is amazing, it’s secure, and all the hassle is taken out of waiting to be approved and waiting to get the money.

Phone Calls From Friends

Posted by Gina on Jul 17, 2008

Tonight I was sitting in front of the computer looking at different websites and checking my email. The typical night around our house is my husband and I working on the computer. Tonight he was out at a meeting and will be there until about 11:00 p.m. Then out of the blue I got a phone call from my friend Rania. I haven’t seen her or talked to her in a long time and it was so great to hear from her.

She is the kind of friend who always calls at the right time. She is one of those people who everyone just loves. She is so sweet and kind and now that she just called me I’m missing her more. She wanted to get together tomorrow but unfortunately I had a doctors appointment scheduled and dinner plans. I was about ready to just say yes and cancel everything else, but I know sometimes you have to be responsible. The next time we talk though I am going to be free for her because she deserves it.

Americommerce.com

I have been thinking about starting my own business for about 11 year now.  Websites such as AmeriCommerce.com was so helpful in giving me a better understanding for making a profit.  Not only do you need a great webpage and website, but more importantly you need a means to drive people to your site in the first place.  What good is having a great product and service to offer yet setting up your store out in a remote area.

The same holds true for online businesses.  You need to have a means to bring customers to your site.  That is exactly what AmeriCommerce.com does.  On top of that they also allow you to make quick changes and adjustments to your webpage without spending hours of time to do it.  Everyone knows how important your time is when you are starting your own business or running a successful one.  Every second becomes precious to you and you need to set priorities for the time you do have.  If you are not convinced yet, go to customizable store softwareand read through the testimonials.
